Yeast Free Pancakes are light desserts that can be made with few ingredients and are also suitable for vegan cooking.

 


Once ready, they can be combined with any kind of sweet sauce, from jam to creams.

Makes about 10 frittelle

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 cup of sparkling water
  • 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar

 

METHOD:

To prepare the Frittelle, we start by pouring the flour into a container, and add the water in a trickle, mixing thoroughly to prevent lumps from forming.

 

Once the ingredients are well mixed, we also incorporate the powdered sugar and beat with a fork.

Our batter is now ready to be fried.

 

Let’s put the peanut oil to heat on the stove and bring it to 330 F.

Once the temperature is reached, we take the batter with two spoons and slide it into the hot oil.

 

Let’s cook the fritters for a few minutes until they are puffy and well browned. Let’s drain them on paper towels and sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
