Although the ingredients may seem familiar, the combination of spaghetti, tomato puree, sautéed cherry tomatoes and oregano creates a delicious symphony of flavors.

Don’t be fooled by its apparent simplicity: this dish promises a memorable dining experience that will leave you wanting more.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 oz of spaghetti
  • 7 oz of cherry tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup of tomato puree
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • Onion to taste
  • Olive oil to taste
  • Fresh basil leaves to taste
  • Dried oregano to taste

 

METHOD:

Wash and cut the cherry tomatoes in half, then let them “marinate” for an hour with half a clove of garlic cut in two, a few basil leaves and oregano.

Chop the other half of the garlic and a slice of onion, then sauté them with two tablespoons of olive oil.

Add a few basil leaves and finally the tomato puree.

Season with salt and let it cook for a few minutes.

Add the marinated tomatoes and cook everything for two minutes.

Adjust the seasoning with salt.

Cook the spaghetti according to your preference, then transfer it to the pan and saute for one minute.

Serve and enjoy!
