Ingredients:

  • 11 ounces of spaghetti
  • 6 fillets of anchovies in oil
  • 5.5 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Breadcrumbs to taste
  •  extra virgin olive oil for toasting the breadcrumbs

Instructions:
1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, melt the butter over low heat.
3. Add the anchovy fillets in oil to the skillet and let them melt in the butter over gentle heat, mashing them with a fork.
4. In another skillet, heat some olive oil and add the breadcrumbs. Toast the breadcrumbs with a pinch of salt until golden and crispy.
5. Drain the spaghetti al dente and transfer it to the skillet with the seasoning, stirring well.
6. Add the toasted breadcrumbs directly to the pasta and mix everything well.
7. Serve the spaghetti with butter, anchovies, and breadcrumbs hot.
