A year after the cancellation of his popular food travel series “Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy” on CNN, actor Stanley Tucci, known for his versatile film and television career, is about to embark on a new culinary adventure, this time with National Geographic.
The Disney-owned nonfiction content company has given the green light to a new 10-part docuseries titled “Tucci – The Heart of Italy.”
This series is closely reminiscent of his previous show on CNN, as it will follow Tucci on a journey to discover the unique flavors that characterize each region of Italy and explore the country’s rich cultural diversity through the people he meets along the way.
Stanley Tucci, an accomplished actor with a wide range of l avors spanning film, television and theater, brings his passion for food and travel to this new project.
Best known for his roles in films such as “The Devil Wears Prada,” “Julie & Julia” and the “Hunger Games” series, Tucci has captivated audiences before with his culinary exploration, and “Tucci – The Heart of Italy” promises to continue that tradition.
“Tucci – The Heart of Italy” is produced by Tucci’s Salt Productions and BBC Studios’ Factual Productions for National Geographic and is scheduled to begin production next month.
