Looking for simple recipes that allow you to munch on something sweet anytime?

The one for pistachio cookies may be for you: ready in just a few steps, they are irresistible and suitable for both breakfast and tea time.








  • 18 oz of peeled pistachio
  • 2 cups of sugar
  • 3 oz egg whites
  • powdered sugar as needed




Heat oven at 350 F.

Using an electric mixer chop the pistachio with the sugar, a little at a time.

Place the pistachio and sugar mixture in a large bowl.

Add the egg whites to the pistachio mixture.

Using a spatula, mix well.

The dough will be hard.

Place the dough in the refrigerator about 1 hour.

Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it, using a lot of powdered sugar, in a long shape.

Cut the log in 1/2 inch slices.

Shape the cookies round, add more powdered sugar and place them on a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

Place in the preheated oven and cook about 4 minutes.

Take out of the oven and cool slightly.

Using a spatula take them off the cookie sheet.
