Puttanesca is a traditional Neapolitan dish.

A few simple ingredients and a unique, strong taste:
Capers, olives and garlic, all combined in a cherry tomato sauce.

In our family we often prepare it especially when we have little time, in fact it is a very quick recipe to prepare.

There are several variants, but this one I propose is the variant with the addition of anchovies.

SERVINGS:3

INGREDIENTS:

  • 9 oz of penne pasta
  • 2 tbsp of capers
  • 3 tbsp of black pitted olives
  • 1 anchovy fillet in oil
  • 2 cups of cherry tomatoes
  • 1 garlic clove
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • parsley to taste
  • chili pepper to taste

METHOD:

In a large frying pan, we pour extra virgin olive oil so that it covers the bottom.

Let us sauté a clove of minced garlic (if you do not like the taste of garlic, you can put it whole).

After that, if you like, put an anchovy in oil and let it crumble into the oil.

Add the desalted capers and black olives.

At this point add the cherry tomatoes tomatoes.

Season with salt and chili pepper and cook for about 15 minutes over low heat, stirring occasionally.

Meanwhile, boil the pasta water in a large tall pot.

Lower the spaghetti and season with salt. Drain when al dente and toss in the pan with the sauce.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley, serve, and enjoy
