INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups of ricotta cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 packet of baking powder (about 2 1/4 teaspoons)
  • 1 packet of vanillin (or 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract)
  • 3/4 cup of chocolate chips

 

METHOD:

Pass the ricotta cheese through a fine-mesh sieve.

Process the ricotta with the sugar and vanillin until smooth.

Incorporate the eggs, one at a time, into the ricotta cream and add the previously melted butter.

Add the sifted flour and baking powder to the mixture.

Mix well and incorporate the cocoa chips.

Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured mold and bake at 350 F for about 40 minutes.
