Seafood Salad


  • 1 lb mixed seafood (mussels, clams, shrimp, calamari)
  • 2 lemons
  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper


Cook the seafood in boiling water until done, then drain and let it cool.

In a bowl, mix the seafood with lemon juice, olive oil, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.

Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Servings: 4

First Course:

Spaghetti with Clams


  • 14 oz spaghetti
  • 2.2 lbs clams
  • Garlic
  • Red pepper flakes
  • Fresh parsley
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt


Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.

In a large pan, sauté minced garlic and red pepper flakes in olive oil.

Add the clams and cover the pan until they open.

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the clam sauce and chopped parsley. Servings: 4

Main Course:

Fried Cod


  • 1.75 lbs cod fillets, soaked
  • Flour
  • Frying oil
  • Salt


Pat the cod fillets dry and coat them in flour.

Heat the oil in a pan and fry the cod until golden brown and crispy.

Drain on paper towels and season with salt before serving. Servings: 4

Side Dish:

Baked Broccoli


  • 1 lb broccoli
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Breadcrumbs


Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Toss the broccoli with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

Place the broccoli on a baking sheet, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Servings: 4


Honey Fritters (Struffoli)


  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • Grated lemon zest
  • Honey
  • Frying oil
  • Colorful sprinkles


Mix the flour, sugar, eggs, and lemon zest to form a dough.

Roll the dough into small balls and fry them until golden.

Heat the honey and dip the fritters in it, then arrange them on a plate and decorate with sprinkles. Servings: 8
