INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 apples
  • 1+1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of mascarpone cheese
  • 1 tsp of baking powder
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1.4 tbsp of butter

 

METHOD

Beat the eggs with 3/4 cup of sugar until you obtain a clear and frothy mixture.

Add 1 cup of mascarpone, mixing well, then add a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and sifted flour.

Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut 4 into cubes while slicing the remaining ones.

Incorporate the apple cubes into the batter, mixing well.

Butter a 9.5-inch diameter cake pan and pour the batter into it.

Smooth the surface, arrange the apple slices in a radial pattern, sprinkle with the remaining sugar, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for 55 minutes.

Serve the cake warm.
