Indulge in a savory treat with our mouthwatering meatloaf stuffed with hard-boiled eggs, provolone cheese and peas.

This hearty dish combines the rich flavors of ground meat with the creamy texture of cheese and the subtle sweetness of peas, all complemented by the surprise of perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs in the center.

  • 10 oz of ground beef
  • 10 oz of ground pork
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 6 slices of provolone cheese
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs

In a bowl, we soak breadcrumbs in milk.

In another bowl we add the ground meat, a pinch of salt, an egg, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and finally the breadcrumbs with the milk.

We mix everything vigorously and let it rest.

In a pot we boil the 2 eggs.

In another pot, we add some boiling water with the frozen peas and let it cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Now we lay a sheet of baking paper on our work surface and pour the meat.

We spread the meat with our hands or with a meat tenderizer.

Now we can add the sliced hard-boiled eggs, provolone cheese slices and peas.

We add a pinch of salt and proceed to gently roll our meatloaf, taking care to close the edges.

Let it rest for an hour in the refrigerator.

We place the meatloaf (in the baking paper) in the ventilated oven and let it bake about 45 minutes at 400 F.
