Recipe:
Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup sliced provolone cheese
Instructions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 370°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmigiano cheese, eggs, milk, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. On a large piece of parchment paper, press the meat mixture into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Layer the mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, prosciutto, and provolone cheese on top of the meat mixture, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Carefully roll the meatloaf, using the parchment paper to help you, into a log shape, tucking in the filling as you roll.
  6. Place the rolled meatloaf onto a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Serve slices of the Italian stuffed meatloaf with additional tomato sauce if desired.
