Fried Calamari are a typical fish second course of Italian cuisine .

They are rings of squid or squid that while still wet are passed in flour that forms a batter around them; finally they are fried in plenty of oil where they become crispy and mouthwateringly golden!

Usually served plain with a sprinkling of salt or with freshly pressed lemon juice!
