- 4 cups of all purpose flour
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 tsp of baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
- 2 tsp of vanilla extract
Sift the flour and add the baking powder.
Beat butter and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time and continue beating until incorporated.
Add the vanilla extract.
Gradually add the flour to the butter mixture alternating with the milk.
Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for 40 minutes at 350 F in a preheated oven.
