The almond crunch is a dessert in use during the Christmas holidays, but it is now revisited and offered at any time of the year, as it is tasty and easy to prepare it finds favor with most.
It is made of caramelized sugar and almonds, very simple and mouth-watering it is a dessert that can still be found among the stalls in the markets, and it makes us all go back to being children a little.
The recipe is quick and easy and requires few ingredients.
Shall we try it?
- 2/3 cup of almonds
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- butter to taste
Toast the almonds in the oven for 5 minutes at 300 F.
In a small saucepan, pour the sugar and a knob of butter, stir over low heat.
The sugar will begin to melt until it caramelizes completely.
Turn off the heat and pour in the toasted almonds, stir well so that the sugar is completely mixed with the almonds.
Take two sheets of baking paper brush them with a little seed oil pour over the caramelized almonds and with a spatula level the surface, cover with the other sheet of paper and flatten with a rolling pin.
Slice the crisp and allow to cool.
