Tiramisu is one of the world’s most beloved desserts so much so that there are endless variations of it.

In this recipe I propose it in the ice cream version.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lb. vanilla ice cream, or any other flavor
  • lady fingers as needed
  • 1 cup dark italian coffee or very strong american coffee
  • cocoa powder as needed

 

METHOD:

Take the ice cream out of the freezer and let it soften.

Start to prepare the coffee. When the coffee is ready, put it in a bowl to cool.

Start to assemble the tiramisu. Dunk the lady fingers in the coffee and place them on the sides and bottom of your pan.

Spread a layer of ice cream (dust with cocoa powder, optional).

Make another layer of lady fingers and spread another layer of ice cream.

Add another layer of lady fingers and dust with cocoa powder.

Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer for at least two hours.

Take your tiramisu ice cream out of the freezer and let the ice cream soften before serving.

You can scoop it out to serve in individual bowls or place it on a serving platter.

Dust with more cocoa powder and enjoy!!
