I know you may be wondering where the basil went.

Well, it’s not there!!!


This personal version of mine includes capers, tuna, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella.

And if you like, you can add chili pepper.

I assure you it is a delicious dish!!!

 

 

 

 

 

SERVINGS:4

INGREDIENTS:

  • 14 oz of Penne pasta
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 cup of cherry tomatoes (5.3 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon of desalted capers
  • 1 can of tuna
  • 1 1/4 cups of mozzarella (5.3 ounces)
  • extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • salt to taste

 

METHOD:

In a frying pan, we put oil and finely chopped onion.

We add the cherry tomatoes and salt.

We let them cook for about 4 minutes over medium heat.

We add the capers and let them cook for about 10 minutes on a high flame.

Meanwhile, we cook the pasta.

We slice the mozzarella and lay it in a large bowl.

We turn off the heat under the pot of cherry tomatoes and add the tuna.

We drain the pasta and add our cherry tomato and tuna sauce.

We stir vigorously so that all the ingredients are combined and add half a tablespoon of cooking water.

Serve and enjoy!
