Mussels give an unmistakable flavor to any dish and always guarantee success at the table.

I will explain a step-by-step recipe for a dish that has always been a success in my dinners.


It doesn’t take much to prepare them it only takes 10 minutes!

 

 

 

 

SERVINGS:2

INGREDIENTS:

  • 35 oz of mussels (1 kg.)
  • extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • chili pepper to taste
  • chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 cups of tomato puree
  • 1 cup of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (you can use Pecorino Romano)

 

METHOD

First you need to equip yourself with a pot for fresh mussels and let them open.

Meanwhile in a nonstick pan put oil, garlic, chili pepper a pinch of salt and tomato puree.

When the mussels are completely open, let them cool and remove the empty part of the shell.

Now add the shells with the mussels inside the pan with the sauce we have prepared.

We heat for about 2 minutes on a low flame.

We can serve the dish.

We sprinkle the mussels with chopped fresh parsley and some Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (but if you prefer you can use Pecorino Romano cheese).
